Portland Comprehensive School - Worksop - 2007 (Balfour Beatty)

Direct Interior Solutions started work on the new-build school in Worksop in February 2007.

We won the contract not only through our experience on working on the Bassetlaw Schools Joint Venture, but also through our reputation for quality, reliability, and ability to complete works to a high standard to completion dates set.

Work was continuous for 10 months, with Direct Interior Solutions responsible for all joinery works onsite, incluing column casements, stair stringers, window surrounds, doors, architraves and skirtings.

Portland Comprehensive School is part of Treanch 2 of the Bassetlaw Schools Joint Venture, and was completed for handover in November 2007.
